Larry Harrison vs NES Equipment Rental
This case was tried in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.
The Plaintiff, Larry Harrison, was operating a boom truck device which had been rented from the Defendant, NES Equipment Rental. This Boom truck device had a defective and malfunctioning circuitry in the same which caused it to rapidly go forward when it was not intended nor operated to go forward.
On the occasion of this accident, the boom truck traveled forward into an open pit resulting in injuries and damages to the Plaintiff.
After a trial of approximately three days, the jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of the Plaintiff in the amount of $1,000,000.
This case was tried before U. S. District Judge Tom Lee.
